Ideas That Make You Say “Hmmm”
In an effort to fight political graft the Zero Rupee note has been developed:
An Indian U of Maryland physics prof came up with these zero rupee notes that Indians can slip to officials who demand bribes. They’ve been wildly successful, with a total run over over 1,000,000 notes, and the reports from the field suggest that they shock grafters into honesty. Fifth Pillar is the NGO that produces the notes, and they’re available for download in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
Unfortunately, given the amount of money the Fed has created and our government’s profligate spending, the U.S. Dollar might be heading there without printing new notes.

Gandhi’s Seven Deadly Sins, or what Republicans do.
1. Wealth without work.
2. Pleasure without conscience.
3. Knowledge without character.
4. Commerce without morality.
5. Science without humanity.
6. Worship without sacrifice.
7. Politics withou principle.
I submit that THIS is the purity test for a good Republican. That Mahatma, he knew his stuff.
Bribe with pennies.
The pre 82’s are worth twice face value in copper.
Joe Blow, your name suits you very well today. Now, which of those sins match with John Edwards’ sex tape made while his wife is dying?????
Yes but, Craig, it’s not the Dems who throw around purity tests, at least not yet. But I was actually suggesting that numbers 1,4, and 7 are the ones that Repubs specialize in violating. For example, just what sort of “work” did George Bush, or Dick Cheney actually DO to acquire their wealth? And lets face it, not much “morality or principle” with these two either. But I just threw this out for discussion since I saw the Mahatma’s picture. I realize that it has nothing to do with the topic.
Joe Blow, you have your head in the sand to even remotely believe and suggest that Dems don’t have litmus tests of allegiance. http://www.ontheissues.org/Democratic_Party.htm
Again, you name fits you very well.
Wow, I’m glad to learn I don’t work for every dollar I make.
What a loser.
Joe Blow, you went rouge troll with your digression. Before recently appearing here under your new name, what nom de guerre did you use to write similar drivel?
Gregg, did I say that you didn’t earn you money? No. I simply asked just how did George Bush and Dick Cheney become obscenely wealthy. I won’t answer because I think that we all know the answer to that inquiry, but Cheney received a measely forty million dollars from Haliburton when he left to run for VP, and Bush has never been gainfully employed in his entire life. In fact, were it not for his father’s Saudi benefactors, they guy would be sleeping under a bridge, which is the rightful, natural occupation of one blessed with his “talents” so to speak.
