Funny Stuff
Cataract City posted about a scolding a local citizen gave his fellow citizens at Tuesday’s commission meeting.
Our friend, David from GreaterFalls put up a link on Facebook. Apparently forgetting that the internet is, well, public, our Mayor joined the discussion:
Dona Stebbins: I am afraid this is filtered through Ms. Guynn’s perceptions. I did indeed attempt to cut off Mr. Nicholson, several times. He is elderly and perhaps a touch deaf and did not hear me. I found his remarks to be in good taste, unlike some other commenters. He actually had kind words to say about city officials. If Ms. Guynn found that odd, perhaps she has been spending too much time with Mr. Hubbard and Mr. Witsoe.
Kim Fox: LOL way to go Donna!!!
Teresa Napierala-Pyle: Dona, you don’t know me, however, I could teach you sign language and you could make some of you own “comments” under the radar….
Dona Stebbins: Teresa, That might be fun. I only know one “sign:)”
Teresa Napierala-Pyle: I bet it only requires on part of your hand. .lol. Theres nothing like telling someone what you think and they assume you are making a friendly hand gesture….:)
Dona Stebbins: Let’s talk:) This could be fun!
Speaking of good taste….

Stebbins’ been giving the public the finger for too long. Good riddance
The banter of mediocrity. Stebbins is the mayor, right?
Gregg Smith:
It might not be as public as you think. While the inclusion of the link is neat, all I get is a page that says “David only shares certain information with everyone. To learn more about David, add him as a friend.” I checked on the good mayor, and only one Dona Stebbins comes up. Her profile is also private. The same for Teresa Napierala-Pyle. I could add any/all of them as friends, but I generally don’t add people to my friends list I don’t know.
Good point, Mihalis. Let’s just say it’s public enough!
I’m here to help.
So, ‘taste’ is now a measure of a citizen?
I think we need to confer with Susan Overfield, the Dog Whisper, but from what I saw as I sat right next to her honor was, a hand motion From Mr. N. that says to a dog, “You will sit, stay and be quiet until I give you permission to move.” He did not seem hard of hearing. He heard the mayor tell him his time was up and he responded by the sit stay hand motion.
For good or ill, Dona is what she is, and makes no pretensions otherwise. I am not sure why people continue to be surprised by her.
Mary Jolly makes snide remarks about giving city employees a raise while being completely clueless about where hundreds of thousands of dollars are really being squandered.
I think Mary has a pretty good idea, Von Won. She is the only member of the City Commission who has consistently questioned City spending, from coal plant to parking meters.
Maybe there is a clue in the Secret Box. You know, the one no one else will look into.
Our current mayor has a double standard for speaking out at the commission meetings. One for her friends (smiles & kudos’) and one for the rest of us (the secret police)…..
Our mayor needs a rminder of the truth. Check out this link of the actual video madam mayor then tell us what you think…..

Von Won, you should be more specific. I don’t even know what you’re talking about.
“snide remarks” I don’t think so Von Won.
You bitch about some stiff who picks up your garbage getting a $400.00 a year raise and ignore the bonuses being paid to some City employees.
What bonuses? Tell me and I’ll “bitch” about it.
