Hey Budge - you drive me nuts - you take every idea I have and drive it into the ground, make me think more than I want to think - it's crap, I tell you. Crap.

Happy Thanksgiving. I could use a few more enemies like you.

You'll get smaller government when you have smaller corporations.

So, who's on first base? Is Obama pitching, or catching? Do corporate fascist heavyweights want more face time with the press and public? That went so well with Bush. Isn't that Obama's job now? I think the writer has the boss and the employee mixed up.

No. But I don't really care about the revolving door. And if the government was much smaller then you wouldn't care as much either.

Hey - aren't you advocating the revolving door, Dave? You know, like bringing the bankers in who brought us the collapse to advise Obama on what to do about the collapse?

This reminds me a lot about law professors, who are overwhelmingly both (1) politically left of center and (2) largely without significant private sector experience.

The average length of prior law practice for law professors hired nationally is no more than about three years, with perhaps 40 percent having no practice experience at all. (You read that right: People with little or no experience practicing law are presuming to teach students to practice law.) Moreover, among those with practice experience, many have worked only in government. Even fewer have actually had to meet a payroll.

(Note: Law professors at the University of Montana have much more practical experience than the national norm.)
